Bob Bryan has written & directed “Sherlock Holmes in Love.” Seeing the show come alive, Bob had these comments “In 1959, at my 17th birthday (I pause now to let you do the math) my aunt and uncle gave me “The Complete Sherlock Holmes.” I read and reread the stories. Then read them again. So smitten was I that I read onto audio tapes the entire book, so I could listen to the ‎stories as I fell asleep.

I wrote the first draft of this play more than 12 years ago. Several revisions and additions later, it is now ready to present. From the beginning I thought the words were good. I still think they are good, but my experience with “Sherlock Holmes in Love‎” taught me that, with a play, words are just words until given life by a talented cast. I have no excuses. I have a fabulous cast and an assistant director, Jerra Moreland, who is the bravest person I know.

Bryan’s cast is filled with Ole veterans who are audience favorites—

Dan Brown- Sherlock Holmes

Joe Pyke- Dr. John Watson

Leah Kimm- Nora Hawkins

Lynn Weil- Elizabeth Hawkins

Keith Martin- Inspector Lestrade

Kurt Schindler- David Wallace

Diana Blair- Birdie

Ethan Kimm- Parker

Jerra Moreland- Mrs. Hudson
